Challenge
Labbaik has developed an Accommodation Global Distribution
System (AGDS), which allows the property owners to market,
package, sell and sub-contract their accommodation services,
all through a single platform.
Labbaik has entrusted Connect2Web the responsibility
to increase the value of AGDS with major enhancements,
improve the software quality and AGDS Product lifecycle
all ensured through Connect2Web's sophisticated Software
Development Methodology. The AGDS system is being marketed
to various Hotel Chains specifically in Middle East
and world-wide in general.
The major challenge is to retain the business functionality,
and hence time/cost investment of Labbaik on AGDS, and
at the same time improving the system overall producing
a packagable application which ensures ROI and market
feedback, without incurring a lot of investment on restructuring
the problematic areas of the application

Intelligence
The initial phase was to have our technical team
conduct a full software evaluation and analysis, resulting
in important recommendations and analysis documentation.
Based on them we prioritized the improvement of major
areas of the application, and scheduled the important
enhancements needed by the system.
We are re-engineering the application, and incorporating
enhancements utilizing as much as we can from the current
application but primarily focusing on revamping the
whole system on the industry’s best practices,
standards and frameworks along with the most recommended
practices for the internationalization. This includes
incorporating the best practices for Multicurrency and
Multilingual support

This allows the client to have a number of dedicated
resources, managed by our project manager, and coordinating
the delivery of work with the Labbaik CIO and the Business
Manager
This agreement has allowed Labbaik to involve more
in the marketing, business development and planning
of the different packaged products for the Hospitality
Industry based on AGDS, while handing over the delivery
of the technical solution to us.
